Week8: Apple’s Vision Pro Launch and Consumer Interaction
This week, I have learned interactive marketing and integrated marketing communications. Around the same time, I read an article about Apple's Vision Pro headset that was released in 2025. The article explained how Apple has been using a highly integrated promotion approach on digital channels, i.e., its website, YouTube launch videos, influencer partnerships, and immersive product pages.
Interesting to me was Apple's interactive marketing and the way in which it provides a robust customer experience via avenues like customization, connection, and commerce all pinpointed in Chapter 17. Their website integrates high-definition content, product information, and AR previews, all of which meet the seven website design features learned in class. This all contributes interactivity and assists customers on their journey of consumerism.
From a communication strategy perspective (Chapter 18), Apple's uniform message and simple visual appeal throughout channels demonstrates great integrated marketing communication. The brand clearly speaks what it says, how it speaks it, and when it speaks it kept simple and branded and using several channels (social media, site, press releases).
This image helped me see how companies can combine communication and technology to influence customer behavior and build closer relationships with customers. It also led me to think about the influence of timing, channel choice, and message management in shaping the brand image of today.
